6 years old. First impression was soy sauce… initially thought I would have to drain this one but it grew on me. Ok; but definitely past its prime.

Age did wonders for this. Roasty, oakey, leather, cigar, chocolate. Strong but not boozy somehow. Very good. Thanks Kevin N.

Another legendary beer I have wanted to try for ages. 1 November 2016 bottle. Tight tan head slowly raises up and then last for ages. Nose of complex dark roasty malts with hints of molasses, dark chocolate, dark caramel, and faint vanilla. The palate is

I've had it a few times before but not at 6yrs. Looses much of the booziness.... but not the ABV. It's a trip with how smooth and rich it is. Proper viscosity.

Not aging as well as the 2008 did after 6 years. Still a little hot and tasting almost like it's fresh. Maybe in a couple more years...

Booze has softened carbonation has wilted quite a bit but all for the better IMO. Aged very nicely. Just wonderful.
