Smooth, with subtle wood notes. Some molasses as it warms.

Dark and roasty with rich coffee notes smooth but has a slight bitterness on the swallow yet finishes sweet from the honey

My last 1 from cellar. Another great easy drinkin smooth 9% ABV that unfortunately has been discontinued. Speaking of discontinued beers heard via reliable source Liquid Truth Serum - 1 of my alltime favs from Dogfish - is endangered & soon to be extinct

I think it would be a lot better if it was some kind of barrel aged instead of wood aged. The oak tannins just overpower the other flavors, still good though.

More woody flavor than an entire Entmoot. An aggressive but delightful amount of smoke on top of an already solid stout!

Smooth stout brewed with honey and wood aged. Sweet up front and bitter on the back. Unique. Thanks Gary!

I believe Bottle was probably 2 yrs old, pre- pandemic..! Since I purchased it at the brewery, still great creamy smooth head retention, & roasted aroma & flavor..! One of my favs at Dogfish head…!

No legible date on bottle. Roasty and malty sweet, plus honey and barrel sweetness. Lovely on such a winter’s day

This bottle is about 7 yrs old according to Chris B. Very good.
