I sat on this a bit, waiting for ideal conditions. I think that paid off. Complex, rich, smooth. Sipping fireside under the Sandhills stars, and life couldn’t be better. Thanks so much for the bottle, Jordan !

Solid Barrel aged beer, but still think Bourbon Barrel age was better.

This is huge and just great. I've had Utopias but not sure I'm getting any here. Nothing wrong with this.

Round 2 - Catch up - not even fair! Brought all the desires for Utopias again. Solid, well balanced, viscous, toffee, and dark fruit undertones all while drinks like a delicious cognac. Strangely spectacular with spicy steak and vegetable soup.

Super deep with lots of chocolatey, bourbony, prunish/apricotty flavors. Very boozy along with the complex flavors. Smooth, but very thick, so it's good for now and then, but not all the time

Pours very thick, dark as molasses, pretty much zero head. Bourbon and dark chocolate on the nose. Very acetone-y when it’s cold, but it smooths out nicely when it warms up a bit. Chocolate, cherry, vanilla, and dried apricots on the taste. Not bad at all

Stout aged in the rarest barrels in the world. I have five because it was in the Beer Advocate Extreme Beer Box and Ty C. told me to buy a 4-pack when he was in Indy. Adds a hint of what Utopia must taste like (I don’t know) to a solid stout base.

Oily black in color No head no lacing A mixture of roasted malt, cognac, vanilla, cocoa, raisins, prunes, black cherries, and anise. Light syrupy mouthfeel with alcohol heat finish This is bonkers complex but balanced, boozy, and excellent.

Pitch black thick imp. Stout. Strong sweet boozy and choco malty nose. Take mimics nose. Full and rich body with a dark choco malty character with a hint of roastiness and a bourbon sweet barrel-aged influence. Very deep and complex! Long boozy finish
