Boozy but expected for 17%. Barrel of utopias gives it a unique profile other than what a bourbon barrel would give. Probably will pick up a few more to age for a few years.

Very thin for abv. Very simple for what I thought would be a very complex beer. Masks the alcohol very well but had higher expectations.

A lot of hype. Haven’t had anything from DFH in quite awhile. Maybe I’ll buy a bottle of Utopia this year if I see it.

Glad I have 7 more of these to age, little hot but fairly drinkable now. That 17% is well hidden 🧐

Barrel gives the base stout a big sweetness to it. Very good.

This is as close to Utopias as my budget allows me to get. Boozy chocolate vanilla caramel goodness. Thanks Kdog for picking these up for me.

Chose this one for #1000 and to kick off a Sabbatical weekend at the beach. Bit too boozy to be a 5, but sooo good.

It’s very boozy! I know it’s supposed to be, it’s 17.2% abv! The stout comes off a little thin but it’s flavorful AF! Figs, dates, dark cherries, caramel & an enormous barrel presence! It’s a sipper and I’m glad I split it with my wife!

Thanks Matt B. for the hookup on this. This is a good finisher for all the killer stouts I had today. Does DFH still use ingredients from all 7 continents in this?

Very lucky to be able to get my hands on one of these. Pours brown in color with strong aromas of bourbon. The mouthfeel is on the thinner side with complex flavors of bourbon notes, some sweetness, and some smooth vanilla, chocolate, and roastiness.

Wow! Happy freaking birthday to me!! The hype behind this one is real. Just an amazing blend of flavors that all come together so well. Enjoying it cold but it seems to be getting even more bold as the chill fades. So so good!!

Extremely boozy, really close to a 4.00, 3.90 final for me, interested to let this sit for a year and see how it ages
