A man needs to know that a beer is 17% before he opens it.

Boozy maple syrup dessert, sticky toffee pudding on steroids! [taster]

Powerful. Dark fruit. Whiskey. Boozey. A little hot, probably would have been better with a couple more years on it but I’m impatient.

Paul . How’s this? It feels like an All Day IPA kinda evening, but you forced me to step it up.

Wow! The one benefit to selling out to Sam Adams. Fantastic!

Maybe it was just my mood but I thought this was delicious. Velvety smooth with very complex barrel notes. I’m extremely impressed that they were able to hide the 17.3% ABV. I don’t know if I would call this a stout but it was very good. Thanks, Mom lol

Deep, dark, very barrel forward sipper stout. Notes of sherry, tawny port, dates, fig, earthy vanilla, dark toffee, leather, tobacco, malty in the mix. At a kick in the mads of 17.3% I will be nursing the teets off of this gem.

Reminds me a little of another Dogfish beer I like - Raisen D'Etre. Packs a punch.

Hell of a 2nd half from Everton. We are staying in the premier league! After so much bad luck and horid ref decisions, we are safe! That is simple justice. Hardly had a beer as good as this. Everton! Spirit of the Blues! Thanks TBONE3190

So fortunate to have some of these put up! It’s so good now! I’m really looking forward to tasting how well these age!

Boozy, boozy, boozy. Whiskey, thick, chocolate, black soy, long oak finish. Quite good. Jason says smells like rubbing alcohol.

Late posting: a little treat after a good show with HTW on Saturday! The malt covered up the fact it was 17.3% well. Definitely a slow slipping beer. But glad I was finally able to find one!
