17.1? Well shit, no wonder I was one and done on this one!

It definitely has toned down since the first time I’ve had it, which is nice. But, I just don’t think I like this barrel treatment much… it has a harshness I just don’t like a whole lot. Otherwise, not bad for a 3 year old beer.

Have been saving this one for a while. It's good but leaves a harsh, alcoholic, lingering aftertaste.

not really stout like but complex as fuck, still very enjoyable in a cerebral way

Thank you Bobby N. for this ridiculously good version of the WWS. Thin, but wow that is full of flavour and utopias goodness. Giggity…

Sherry. Raisins. Bitter chocolate. Cherry. Not the aperitif I was hoping for, but fun to sit with.

Needs a few more years of aging. Still very boozy, but very nice.

If I always used the proper glassware for beer, I might not have tried so many…

The start of "hunker-down" weekend...high temps in single digits, lows below zero, wind chills lower than that! Oh, and maybe some snow. Fun times ahead! 🥶 This brew is delicious, hope they make it again!

A clear step down. Very sharp and aggressive. Needs to be aged more.

Whoa boozy! But followed by very good sweet chocolate coffee and bourbon. Hot hit hot. I'll probably be asleep shortly.

This was really good. Well balanced with notes of caramel, some nuttiness, good bourbon. Keep in mind I'm working with a Mike pour so the amount to taste and rate is limited

By far one of the best quad IPA’s hands down. No longer in production I have 3 left. Any one want to join me….

Had some of that signature Utopia barleywine-like flavor on the nose

The highlight of my 2023 was without question getting to meet and hang out with my amazing sis Kathleen M. so I am happy I got to have a NYE chat with her - and enjoy this incredible beer she kindly gifted me. Here’s to a fantastic 2024, sis! 🥳🍻🤗❤️❤️❤️

"Write it on your heart that every day is the best day of the year" Ralph Waldo Emerson this is a complete masterpiece. It's strong and dark and mysterious. It's a carnival of flavors. Carmel, molasses with nutty notes. Cherry and raisins this is epic yum

This is high end beer. Mostly roasty chocolate but boy that bourbon is lurking in the shadows, you know it's there, you taste its presence, you sense its coming for you and in the end, it will get you. Meanwhile enjoy the chocolaty ride while you can.
