There comes a certain point where you can't fault a beer. It's delicious. Nothing negative to say about it. This is that beer. Damn.

Pretty delicious but as w the past releases patience is usually rewarded. The rest will be aged!

BIG. BOLD. BOOZY. COMPLEX. UNIQUE. Once in a lifetime brew, just exceptional and eccentric. Dogfish Head just keep proving that they are the king at brewing aberrant beer.

This shit is bold and brash. Lord almighty. That'll put some bass in your voice.

Definitely get chocolate and caramel. It’s rich but good.

Mountains of chocolate and subtle cinnamon and baking spice on the nose. Boozy heat immediately on the palate, followed by toffee, dark chocolate, and barrel.

This is interesting. The boozy alcohol rides on top of the subtle chocolate caramel flavors. Delicious.

Just what I needed after another day of working in freezing temperatures. Drink at room temperature in an appropriate glass.

Roasty and boozy. Chocolate and caramel from the base beer with nice barrel character. Thx Matt G.

Little thin but understandable with how boozy it is. Boozy in a good way.

Some day I will find a bottle of Utopias, but in the meantime, this beer gives me some idea what it will be like. Complex, rich, and smooth. Delicious!

Could sit for a year. Boozy, sweet and raisins. Bottle share from Craig

Was curious how this would be since I've never had the opportunity to try Utopias. Very interesting barrel note. It was a delicious drink, especially as it neared room temperature

Coming in at 17.3% it’s smooth barrel tasting and finishing with chocolate notes not bad at all

It’s a stout at its core with boozy dark chocolate notes but it comes wrapped in utopia molasses

It's still warming, but some impatient sips already get dark chocolate, plum, and the overall impression of Utopias, which by itself is a complex almost fortified wine, brandy sort of deliciousness. Warm but not hot... impressive at this ABV.

Yeah there’s a lot going on with this. Definitely a lot of the cognac/raisiny stuff going on from the Utopias.
