17% and not a booze bomb or overly sweet. Dangerously good.

Chocolate, raspberry, ale, strong, boozy, smooth, full-bodied, chunky. Holy hell I've never had anything like that

This is thinner then I expected(medium). Get all kinds of notes. Rich, thick chocolate, roasty coffee, dark chocolate, cocoa powder, plump raisins, plums, blueberry/blackberry, bourbon, rum, vanilla and some wood. Thank you, FlandersNed.

Oh yeah! I have had an unhealthy love with WWS since 2005 when Dan Hewett introduced me to 1995 WWS. This is just awesome! Drinking one on a beautiful Wednesday evening is only for retired affluent folks…WTF I am doing. 😉 Love my life.

So easy to drink and smooth. One would expect more pain from a 17% beer

Dogfish head makes some of the best 16% + abv beers. Totally get the complexity of the utopia flavors highlighted by caramel and vanilla sweetness. Thanks Chris for sharing!

So good. Smooth and the high alcohol content is well hidden. Thank you Ken J.!

Stellar boozy flavors smoothly belie the 17.3 ABV of this lovely brew. I’ll have to be on the lookout for more of this!

Exactly what I wanted it to be. Phenomenal base stout with amped up depth from the utopias barrels. Adds a little sweetness like you’d get from bourbon barrels. Great beer.

Wildly complex & a giant flavor bomb. Wine worthy heat, & a very low (but appropriate) carbonation level. Chocolate & very dark

Rating this amazing beer for a second time in quick succession…due to Keith’s charitable spirit and (more so) the opportunity to share it with the patriarch!

Wow, if you have ever tasted Utopias you can appreciate the flavor in this beer. It really shines through. Love this.

Tons of dried dark fruit on the nose; plum, prune, raisin & fig with tobacco, leather & a hint of bubblegum. Pretty wild. The palate is like someone flambéed caramel-drizzled raisin bread pudding in cognac: charred sweetness, dry barrel & boozy warmth 4.7

Special shout to to Jay T. For this rare one right here. Off the bat I’m getting a bourbon barrel type aroma! But this stout has hints of cherries, chocolate, oak, and bourbon. Strong and tasteful but of course, the booziness is excellently hidden 💯

Aged six months, definitely a bit more complex than drinking it fresh. Really enjoyable and can't wait to try the last bottle we have after aging it a year!

Boozy but not considering its 17%. Fishing opener keeper.
