Big cognac like aroma, but not overly hot. Some underlying dark cocoa

Delicious! I had this one in the fridge for a year or so. I’m going to sit down and pray that 2023 is better than the shit show 2022 was. Cheers, peeps!

Twelfth and final beer from the 2022 Extreme Beer Box: Round 1

I remember this being more mind blowing. It’s thin but that’s ok. Still a healthy burn on the finish. I’ve two more I’ll sit on for much longer or until I replace with the next release.

Says great for aging yet hides the vintage in tiny font. But why? Pretty wack that it has a genuine spirit barrel aged vibe when it's been ages in beer barrels. But it's fab and would age super well. Dried fruit, huge date and fig notes. Barrel boozy

DFH does it again, likely the best WWS variant I tried. Amazing smooth for the higher abv. I love it.

This might cause heartburn. Its like Tripel Bock on acid. Luckily, I am up for the task.

Well worth the wait. One and done. Watching Hardcore (1979) and calling it a night.

High octane with a slightly odd finish. Warms the belly! Thanks Matt. Another good one.

Still fantastic after being aged for over a year, I'd say of the four that my favorite was after aging six months.

Thanks Brad! Holy fuck this is good!! I love everything about this beer! Lovely toasty oak balances an amazing blend of vanilla, cocoa, baking spice, dried fruit and a hint of maple syrup. Has tawny port notes.

It’s wild to try this alongside the actual Utopia. It’s so sweet that it makes the Utopia taste salty by comparison.
