Remember, remember the 5th of November! Amber in color with a slight head and hoppy spruce pine aromas. A syrupy mouthfeel with piney finish. This is a very tasty beer. Smooth and flavorful, and a well hidden 9% ABV. A sweet start, followed by bitter end

After 3 years of cellaring, there is no lacing and the beer on the whole drinks much more mellow as the hoppiness is not as potent. Very smooth and a great sipper, it drinks like a hoppier barleywine.

The KBS variants tend to be reliably good & the 2021 version really nailed the richness of Cocoa. Opaque black w slight tan head that lasts, leaving lots of lacing. Rich bittersweet cocoa aroma. Medium to heavy body, Cocoa upfront w cinnamon & boozy bite.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Matzoh
Very much a dessert beer but done very well. I canāt believe the flavors are from coffee, it tastes like a liquified double fudge brownie. Slight tan head w lots of lacing fishy dark chocolate aromas. Medium body, very rich mouthfeel, superfudge!
