When you are drinking next to beer fridge, everything is fair game

Pretty damn decent for 17+% abv. Masked very well, but the booziness is probably unavoidable. A bit hot and not as sweet as you’d expect. Barrel forward with bits of chocolate and vanilla swirled in.

Hoping for a bit better given it’s probably the closest I’ll get to trying Utopias. Seem to be picking up predominantly cognac/port barrels. Would have to do a side by side, but think I prefer the regular or vanilla WWS

I've never had Utopias, but wow is there a lot going on here.

Pretty much a less intense Utopias taste. Base stout not present 😆

Nice port & sherry fruit notes of raisins, plum, figs and cherry on the nose and palate. The Utopias barrels definitely complement the nice roasty espresso, caramel, chocolate vanilla with beautiful oak tannins throughout. Great mouthfeel and viscosity.

Could not pass this up! Utopia has been on my bucket list for years

Way better than I remember this being. Still extremely sweet with some soy sauce but the booze and roast calms it a touch. Smoother than it should be for the abv.

Clearly the best thing to come out of this merger. Excellent.

All I got was booze even after it warmed up. Sad to say had to dump most of it.

LCI: over-saturation in the market probably hurts the ratings of this beer; it’s excellent and pulls enormous Utopias notes into the base.

Smooth, not overly boozy stout. Definitely one of the best I've had. Hard to believe this is a high ABV but it sneaks up on you. Awesome

Really smooth for 17 percent, but have liked other barrel aged beers more. Gotta try Utopias on its own now

Absolutely delicious! Strong, drinkable, and warm. Perfect for a cool fall evening.

Lots of barrel on this, boozy from the git, chocolate, toffee, dark fruits (prune and raisins). Not as full bodied as I’d like, but will get the job done!

Tasty! Boozy but smooth. There’s something really tasty on the back but I can’t put my finger on it.

Interesting... Kind of wish I let it sit. I don't like the finish

Holy cow! She definitely strong and hot with a bite at the end. I guess I should expect that at 17.3%

Smells and tastes of brandy. A very astringent, hot, booziness to it then the roastiness of the stout. A lot of caramelized barrel burnt notes.

Worth a ✅ not sure it's noticeably different with out a side by side

4.10. Thin. Over-carbonated. Definitely not worth $12 for 12oz.
