Oloroso Sherry Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA

IPA - Imperial / Double

For the exclusive release of our ‘Oloroso Sherry Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA’, we took our 120 Minute IPA and aged it for one year in Oloroso Sherry barrels for a smooth, rich flavor resplendent with notes of caramel, toasted walnuts & maple. We packaged this version of 120 Minute still (i.e. not carbonated) to allow the sherry and rich fruit & caramel notes to express more harmoniously with the silky viscosity of the liquid. It drinks more like a high-proof cocktail than a beer. We suggest chilling to 55 degrees and enjoying in a snifter or highball glass! Clocking in at 15.4% ABV, this boisterous brew will be available starting on this Saturday, Oct. 16 for $25 per 375 ml. bottle, limit 6 bottles per person.

To call this an IPA is a stretch. If anything, it's a strong ale. Awesome flavor though. Should be called 120 seconds...because that's how long it takes to get buzzed after your first sip..

The smell gave me a shiver but the taste was like a fantastic port. Really good.

LCi. Served still. Brown sugars, dark fruit (plums and raisin), leathery good oxidation traits.

Wow! It feels like a cross between a barleywine and a Manhattan (with it being still, and having a sherry backbone.) A year out i think it's better!

Definitely getting the sherry. Very smooth and not nearly as sweet as I was expecting. This would be dangerous in quantity since it drinks like a 7% even though it IS boozy tasting. A paradoxical beverage. Glad to share with Kathleen M.

One of the most flavorful beers I ever tasted. Samples only due to ABV and supply. Brandy-like beer

FLN. Sherry all over, booze is more mild than the traditional. Not a huge fan of it being served “still” but definitely brings out the flavor.
