World Wide Stout (2019)

Stout - Imperial / Double

Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, World Wide Stout is dark, rich, roasty and complex. This ageable ale clocks in at 15-20% ABV and has a depth more in line with a fine port than with a can of cheap, mass-marketed beer.

Bottled 4-11-19 I think. 9 almost looks like an 8 now lol! Either way ages very well and is one of my favorites since way back when my bro-n-law got it . This one definately will put the hair back on. Thx my brutha 👍🏻🍻

Pretty crazy how little alcohol taste you get from this monster. Just roasty chocolate (maybe figgy?) goodness

Maybe a bit too much bourbon, but who cares about that? Rich with oak and vanilla, a touch of cherry. This beer is awesome. Could benefit from another year in the cellar, but perfectly drinkable today.

Bottled 5.9.19 label is falling off, maybe it’s what provoked me to pluck this one from my beer fridge. Quite the beer, huge at 16%abv and you definitely get the booze but not off putting. Black licorice, oak, roasted malt, dark fruit . Full body. 🥴 done

Rich? More like decadent. Woody bourbon over boozy cherries. This knocks off the socks, grows hair on hairs... Lisa's favorite

About 1.5 years in the fridge. Still exceedingly hot. Intense roast followed by alcohol burn. Tops this year's Narwhal by a bunch for smack you in the face stout

It was in a bottle, then in a glass, then on the floor. Guess I'm done for the night.

Decadent notes of sweet dried fruit on nose; smooth carb w/ a nice blend of roasted malts notes, candied fruit, caramel & a bit of spices; a smooth semi sweet finish. Cellar aging did this one well!

been sitting in my fridge for a year...a very tasty stout - & not too boozy for an 18% A.B.V. Even at $10 a bottle, still worth it - for a special occasion (i.e. last zoom work meeting of 2020).

Vanilla, barrel, oak, toffee, and really fantastic. I think of an imperial stout, this is it. And aged nearly 2 years just mellows that booziness

Wow I didn’t know this was 16%... dark fruit anise and some hip bitterness. I wouldn’t have guessed 16%
