It is amazing what you can do with beer. Here is ostensibly an IPA that even when fresh isn’t exactly your run of the mill IPA…and now you age it two years and you wouldn’t know this was an IPA at all. Sweet, caramelly and for sure boozy.

It’s somethin. Heavy for sure, 16%. It’s smooth tho. Not too bad considering

Funky orange, apricot, white tea, and honeysuckle. A little warm on the back end. Looking forward to see how it mellows/changes in the years to come.

Not as good as the 2017 version. Tastes different, less hoppy, maybe palate is shot from the 2017. Still a solid beer.

This beer has in the past tasted almost like a barleywine (American), but this is pure essence of resin. When you cram so much hops into a beer it ceases to be hoppy and simply transcends into another realm.

Not what it once was, just boozey not much raisin or hop flavor. May need time but I have had a ton of this tap and bottle and don’t see it getting there

huge citrusy and piney aroma, taste incredibly caramelly, bitter hoppiness. can’t hide the booze. for nostalgia

If an IPA could taste like a stout, it would taste like this. Intense but kinda yummy.
