Still one of my all-time favorites. So glad I got a 4 pack this year so I can age the other 3 for many many years.

Skip 2021 since they apparently didn’t produce the beer last year and we arrive at 2022. You could tell that this beer was by far the freshest (as it should be) and didn’t have some of those cellar-aging notes found in the previous iterations.

Definitely the best year to date. Very smooth and very hoppy. I look forward to this stuff every year. I’m looking forward to how it cellars too!

Sweet, malty, piny. For a brew with such a high ABV, it is well hidden.

Some harshness as expected but yet it does not taste like 20%. A good batch that will get better with time.

Drank one fresh. Not as boozy as some past years, but still strong. To the cellar they go.

This beer has in the past tasted almost like a barleywine (American), but this is pure essence of resin. When you cram so much hops into a beer it ceases to be hoppy and simply transcends into another realm.

Drink it fresh or age it, 120 is always amazing. Love the new label as well.
