It's gotten a little bit better. 4.35. Surprisingly too much barrel! Nothing unique in my opinion.

This has hung out well for 4 years. Still a bit too sweet for me but crisp, and dark chocolate vanilla swirl . GO PACK GO

It got down in the 30s overnight here in Central Florida. Time for a winter warmer. Cheers!

Pulled this one out of the cellar last night. Don’t remember much afterwards.

75 degrees, blue skies & sunny here in the sunshine state. This is my treat after my afternoon walk. Very tasty! Cheers!

Pulled this out of the cellar and it tasted wonderful. Great balance of the oak and vanilla. When had fresh the vanilla was a bit overpowering so this aged quite well.

Classic imperial stout with subtle oak and perfume-ish vanilla overpowering

A smooth sipper. Vanilla hanging on but would not wait much longer.

Very nice, smooth. Some vanilla. More oak. Ages well, indeed.

Didn’t realize I had this brew that long! Bottled 6/15/2017. Getting slight oak, vanilla, caramel, brown sugar, and a bit of chocolate. Not getting any booziness despite the 16% abv tag (and it’s likely higher at this point).

This held up well. Vanilla, big and boozy but not over powering. Perfect sipping desert for this cold weather.

5 years ago I logged this beer and speculated that it would age well. I was not wrong.

I don’t taste the vanilla. But the stout is very smooth.
