After 4 and a half years it's finally wonderful the vanilla has faded still boozy but in a good way. Now has a creamy rich bourbon and chocolate milkshake.

Been aging this one since 2017! Tons of booze and a deep oaky tannins. Vanilla is mellow but a solid theoughline

Damn this held up well! Tastes like it’s fresh!! Still lots of heat to this baby and the vanilla is subtle. Wow.

Rainy Saturday! This one had no trouble holding up. Vanilla helps out but still packs a punch!

Pulled this out of the cellar and it tasted wonderful. Great balance of the oak and vanilla. When had fresh the vanilla was a bit overpowering so this aged quite well.

Delicious and flavorful. But with 16% alcohol, this is the strongest stout I've had. And I can taste the booze part!

Vanilla has fallen out. Little bit of oak remains and still boozy. Not bad but past its prime.

Aging nicely after 5 years. Super smooth, still lots of vanilla coming through. Even smoother and sweeter as it gets closer to room temperature.

Fantastic. 5 years old to the day and wow so much barrel and lush chocolate malts roasted with more barrel, vanilla and dry oak notes. Dang.

Wonderful, simply wonderful. Had it 3 weeks before the 5 year bottle date and it was definitely worth the wait, bravo

Not rating tonight’s bottle. Not sure if this tasted like dryer sheets bc the vanilla was funky or if it’s bc of follow the BCBS Barleywine. Will give benefit of the doubt on this one and not rate

Chocolatey goodness. Super smooth. Very boozy. Actually crushable for a stout. Nice vanilla taste.
