This is the Oloroso Sherry Barrel aged variant. Strong sherry notes, clean and perfect. #WOCAAW24

I've been holding onto this for six years and has definitely mellowed out and balanced from the first time checking this in.

2016 vintage. Aging quite nicely. Lots of dark fruit, sherry, and caramel notes in the aroma and taste.

Bottle from 2016. A bit flat, but very intense notes of molasses and a bit bitter final notes.

It was not 2’ under but was saved for more than two years. Appreciated on a Delaware tour day.

2013 bottle from BA Virtual Beer Fest shipment. Pours dark brown, nose with lots of raisins. Smooth, lots of raisin, fig, malt on palate. Aging smooths out any of the expected.alcohol at 15% ABV. Very good barleywine.

Top notch beer and underrated style. Scary smooth. Fortunate to have scored a glass!

Very good barleywine. Can taste the fig, which mellows the taste. Easy drinking for 15%.

Figs and dates compliment a barleywine surprisingly well...I just wish I liked figs and dates more.

Take some plums, soak them in alcohol for a month or so, liquefy them and drink at your own risk. That's essentially what this is. I likes em. Strong so this is my kind of booze..err beer 😄
