That new can art is hitting. Sumac as a flavor is super interesting. Also I paid like $6 for this at HEB so it probably wasn’t super fresh.

It’s just okay to me. Positive thing is it’s not too tart.

Not my kind of beer but thought ughhh was not bad. Would drink again. A+

Floral, fruit and a bit of spice. The fruits come our as some sort of cherry. Some caramel too. Has a hoppy spiced up aftertaste.

A bit better this time around…still not quite replacement level.

Interesting; all the class of Dogfish head in a blend of unique-for-unique's sake combo which I never asked for, but someone likes. I am o.k. with it, but not crazy.

A bit boozy, with solid malt character. Les complexity than I expected, though.

Light body, bitter, but clean. I’m getting cherries and a little more malt than I would like.

Lots of characteristics of a red - malt, thick body. Has more texture than an average red plus a noteworthy citrus flavor and a bit of ripe fruit in the aroma.

C- sweet and slightly malty. Comes through a little tart, but full bodied. Not a true red.

It just doesn't succeed in what it wants to do. It's not bad but it just doesn't quite work. Not sour enough, not sweet enough, just.....meh.

Nose is minty resiny hop. Taste is quite resiny (not piney) and maybe a hint of juniper leaves. Too much going on here. Want some (non poisonous) sumac, this is for you! Strange hybrid of red ale and grand cru, and it leans more red ale.

loads of cherry and red fruits.. sour-ish, or maybe that’s just the fruitiness that i’m picking up as sour

standard red ale with a slight sour tang; not bad
