Yesterday's Future Past

IPA - Other

This new take on an old-school West Coast IPA is the beer we’ve been waiting for. Filtered crystal clear with a firm, yet balanced malt backbone, it features notes of sticky pine sap, orange & lemon zest and pleasant bitterness. Available on draft or cask for a special treat.

Really smooth. I’m definitely a sucker for stuff in casks. Hop bitterness is tamed by cask, but flavor is fully present.

I had the pleasure of trying the cask version of this and it was amazing. The unparalleled balance achieved here is reminiscent of a great English mild ale while the hop flavor shows off DFH’s understanding of hop combinations. My new favorite WC IPA!

Bitter, resentful yet amusing in it’s presumptuousness

We’ll balanced dank and sweet, very clean for how hoppy this is but seems otherwise not notable.

Wasn’t sure a cask beer would be my thing but it’s surprisingly good.

Lunch break. Paired with a macaroni & cheese, bacon & BBQ sauce pizza…Quite good, all the way around!

Another…Cask version. Not a lot of difference in taste, but much more creamy and smooth on the tongue and overall mouthfeel. Left a sturdy beer mustache on the upper lip!
