Pairs excellently with the ice cream & chocolate sauce

Like really high % cacao, bitter and some notes of plum and sherry, kinda red wine like, and noticeable alcohol burn. I think time will really shape this beautifully as usual.

To me it’s always stout season. Even on a humid evening. This one is always dark and roasted goodness.

Excellent beer. Dark fruit with hints of toffee. Warm and boozy with a dry, bitter finish.

Woah. This has some high booze level. Sweet, but good.

More dry this year. Roasty, dry coffee. Dry baking chocolate. A little bit of chocolate sweetness, like chocolate chips.

Still a great beer. Though 2023 here is only 15.5%, so middle of the road!

Beer Advent Day 11. Good, but a little too bitter. Needs something sweet to balance out

Still good, but definitely has taken a step back from previous years.

Less raisiny than the older vintages. Gonna take one home and make it old

It’s good. Lots of coffee and chocolate flavors and slightly peppery also. Bittersweet like really strong dark chocolate. Cheers 🍻

Burnt brownie edges on the nose. Thin mouthfeel with a dark malty flavor at first. Good amount of booziness but more dark chocolate fudge forward. Rounds out with a nice cacao bitterness on the finish leaving a roasty coco powder lingers on the tongue.

One of the better high abv offerings from dogfish. Honestly hits classic stout notes, rich without being too boozy.

Definitely a sipper. Warms the innards. Roasty goodness.
