Ode aan Gerrit! Oude Geuze Boon is een ware klassieker. De Oude Geuze is een blend van verschillende Lambiekbieren van verschillende leeftijden. Bij het mengen van de verschillende bieren toont de brouwer zijn waarde. De bieren van Boon zijn wereldberoemd

Duplicate kindly donated by shaun. Lots of sediment so very tentative pour. Tart and funky while lightly effervescent like a crement/champagne. White grape and yeast flavours. Unusual one but interesting!

Pretty good geuze, tart and sour with some nice oak notes and beautiful grape-like notes to it. Finishes with a bite and leaves a strong mineral finish. Good stuff. A bit too rough at times.

Been getting into this recently. Didn’t like it at first. A bit tart. Has a bit of a dry cider thing going on. This is the 2018-2019 edition. Good stuff.

Thought I'd try something a bit different to start tonight off with. A beer to be shipped and appreciated, lots of care has gone into making this. Lots of complex flavours 😋
