The Headless Gourdsman Bulthuis
Let’s have pumpkin beers all year round - said no one ever. Pretty smooth and delicious. Taste more pumpkin than spice and that’s good.

It’s actually a’13 but I checked that year in already. The heat has certainly mellowed. You can tell it was a high hop beer at some point but it’s faded into a barleywine.

The hazelnut is pretty overpowering but I really don’t mind that. The barrel is very underwhelming and that takes away for me.

Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter Bulthuis
Weird beer. Doesn’t really taste like an old fashioned. The malt is strong and that’s a highlight.

Breakfast Stout (2012) Bulthuis
The carbonation is not there, but the coffee is, which somewhat surprised me. This has held up well.
