Musty and very sharp-sour. Very hot alcohol aftertaste. Possibly too young, or possibly just not for me. Couldn’t finish it either way.

The funky notes are particularly pronounced in this one: aged cheese, leather, old cellar notes. The cherries are very present, fresh and sweet. The finish is dry and bitter, balancing the other notes. Quite complex, very good.

Kriek 2020, gedronken in 2024.Mooi zuur bier, droge afdronk. Lichtzoet en stevig in alcohol. Wijnachtig. De kersen zijn wat ver weg.

Maybe it was a faulty bottle, but mine had strong DMS presence, kinda sulfury, with no cherry freshness.

Sour cherries, fresh and tart. Cherry jam, with some sweetness. Mild funky notes, some leather and wood, and some cheese notes. The sourness is only mild compared to other krieks, and I like it. Quite complex. Some bitter herbal notes. Really good
