Jahrgang 2020, saure Kirsche, Spontanvergärung riecht man sofort, feinporiger, flüchtiger, roter Schaum, deutliche Rezenz, eine gewisse Säure im Mund die sich bis zum Nachtrunk zieht, ein tolles Sauerbier aber nichts für Anfänger

Rot-dunkles Bier, leichtes Kirsch-Aroma, klare Noten der Brett-Hefe. Wunderbar trocken, keinerlei Restsüße. Sehr, sehr gutes Bier, auch wenn die perfekte Hochzeit mit der Kirsche nicht ganz an die der Oude Geuze von Boon heranreicht.

One of the best Krieks I’ve had. Very lovely Smokey flavour to balance out the tart nature. Dangerous!

Backlog: Valentines Day dinner brew with some locally sourced steaks I cooked up. Funky with heavier notes of vinegar than I’d normally like but I does have a nice acidity overall. Incredible color as well.
