Tart cherry juice, marzipany pits, almost candied skins and gentle wood notes on the nose. Nice acidity and immediate tartness with growing fruity distinct schaarbeek cherry notes. Dry wood notes, almond heavy baker's marzipan and a light rubberiness

Cherry tart and Oakey is my take. Also appears to have 2 years worth of sediment. Not bad almost more wine then beer but that's a kriek.

Leuke kriek, niet enorm zuur; ja er is wel volop kers maar ook het eikenhout komt sterk naar voren. Licht robijn van kleur, afdronk zacht en droog

Side by side with 2018. This 2019 opens with satisfying loud pop and the carbonation makes it a bit lively. Less dark in color. Cherry is there but it's not dominating and fades quickly away to an aftertaste of oak.
