Nose gives a tart cherry base, quite dry. Taste is tart, bubbly (good carbonation mouthfeel) and cherry. Finish boosts the tartness towards bitterness and adds a faint hint of christmasy spicyness even. Balanced and traditional. Lovely.

Beetje licht, maar fijn fruitig en kruidig. Niks mis mee. Go MvDP!

Although I quite like the taste, it’s almost a geuze and not a kriek… would probably be thrown off by this in a blind tasting.
