Veel kers, weinig zuur. Oak barrel nagenoeg afwezig. Ok, maar niet meer dan dat

Side by side with 2018. This 2019 opens with satisfying loud pop and the carbonation makes it a bit lively. Less dark in color. Cherry is there but it's not dominating and fades quickly away to an aftertaste of oak.

Zacht licht zuur en krieken, maar niet (meer) uitgesproken en dus snel weg.

Tart cherry, acidic, and somewhat acrid but in a (somewhat) pleasant way. Good for a hot evening.

Thinner and woodier than the more recent vintages. Might be that it just doesn't age well..

Almond notes, slightly tart with strong oak presence. Maybe too much.

Recovery beer Day 5 - light dry oak, cherry and a slightly tart finish. Maybe past it’s best. And gotta love a left over porter soaked slow cook 🥰

Opvallend minder dan de 2018. Vooral bijzonder bitter. Alsof je kersenschillen drinkt.
