Woody and funky, with flavors of green apples, but less tart than many Gueuzes. Excellent.

Heavy grapefruit to taste with some acidity/bitterness on the back end with a hint of tropical fruits coming through. Probably one of the best of the cat series I’ve had

Nose is cheesy, funky, not typical for Boon. No brett in aroma. Taste is lemony, not too acidic. Lots of carbonation, great mouthfeel.

Erg prikkelend door koolzuur. Zacht licht zure smaak. Licht bittere smaak in de afdronk.

Extremely mellow and rounded geuze. Oaky with noticeable bitterness. Doesn't have the boon "cheese" - more of a nutty characteristic. One of my least favourite from this series.

Fruit en zurigheid in de neus. Smaak is gemiddeld zoet en iets meer dan gemiddeld bitter en meer dan gemiddeld zuur. Fris, fruitig, zurig, zoetje, veel carbonatie en bittertje. Afdronk lang met zoetje, zuurtje, carbonatie en dan droog eindigend. Lekker!

Mooi zacht mondgevoel mooi in balans met koolzuur. Bij openen ruik je meteen de eikenhouten vaten. Dit proef je ook heel duidelijk in de nasmaak. Eerst heel verfrissend zuur met een warme en wat zwaardere houten nasmaak...
