5 years in the barrel after brewing, nice barrel character! Overall sophisticated oude geuze, to h of sweet and funk as well. Very good!

Lekker geuzeke. In de geur inderdaad wel cognac aanwezig. Qua smaak licht zuur voor een geuze, wel een sterk aroma van eik en de fruitigheid van abrikoos is zeker merkbar

Intense oak, funk, subtle citrus fruits, lemon, lime, wet oak. Slightly hazy gold, small, frothy, white head. Light sour. Sour citrus fruits, lemon and lime, wet oak, subtle funk, light acidity, soft carb, full bod. Outstanding, rich, well-balanced.

Élu "meilleure gueuze du monde" il y a un an ou deux et c'est pas totalement usurpé à mon avis malgré ce qu'on peut penser de ces concours. Chaleur de cognac/calva en arrière bouche, puissance et équilibre en entame, c'est fantastique.

Slightly sour mature geuze with complex bitters that echo wheat and minerals. Lot of wood during a second sip with barrel maturation leeking through. Hidden peach in the finish. Delightful!
