Oaky, mineral, bacterial nose. Slight tartness underpinning a white grape and sour apple body, which opens up expression as it warms - v restrained @ frigde temp. More fruity minerality adding to the complexity. Lingering finish. So good.

Spritzig, säuerlich, fruchtig, nach Holz, würzig, leicht nach Kaugummi, nach Pfirsich, sehr langer Abgang.

Afgaande op de lage ratings bij dit bier denk ik dat deze in menig Belgisch bieravond terecht komt zonder dat de deelnemers ooit wat anders hebben gedronken dan tripels en ‘n Duvel en dan valt zo’n zure rakker tegen! Gelijk hebben ze. Geuze is voor nerds.

Erg mooie geuzen met de juiste zuren en smaken.

Nez aigre. En bouche on retrouve cette aigreur, acidulé, rejoint par un côté fort boisé. Touche légèrement fruitée. Les 7% alc c'est un + pour ce type de bière. Bière de terroir. Faut aimer le style mais vraiment pas mal.

You know the score - farmyard funk, apple, some tartness. Not too dry. Mild carbonation. Quite nice with a microwave curry, which is what the brewer intended without doubt.

Het pilske wat ons vaier vroeger altijd dronk! Smaak heeft hij nogsteeds niet😜
