Nice old ale. Soft with mild caramel notes and a little bit of wood and acidity from the barrels.

Smells like chocolate vanilla bourbon raisins, taste is not nearly as sweet and thick as you'd expect. Dryer, a bit thinner, darker chocolate than I expected.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Velden
Quite good. A marked improvement over the merely above average KBS. A lot of chocolate, but everything on the bottle does come back in the flavor. Light on the barrel, but that's fine with me.
