Nice and cloudy. Smells of peach, nectarine, apricot. Taste is juicy, tropical, hazy.

Super light, thin pour. Smells dry, yet soft, of tropical hops. Taste is surprisingly sweet and juicy of tropical fruit, and the dryness - which is also found in the beer type (dry IPA) - is subtle.

Beautiful, light yellow, cloudy pour. Smell of sweet peach. Tropical punch on the tongue, with juicy stonefruit upfront followed by tea-like dryness. Super super, this one.

Smell is mindblowing: coffee and coconut, actually mostly the latter. I'm tempted to say there's bourbon in there too, but it's not BA. Anyway. Taste is insane. This has to be BA. I get dark chocolate, coffee, coconut, vanilla aaand... Bourbon, damnit!

Brokilde Belgian Strong Ale Malmanger
Malt and banana on the nose, both bitter and sweet. Taste is bitter, bready, and has a long, bitter aftertaste. Not quite my style, this.
Almost nothing on the nose. A little malt, as in a pilsner. Taste is also pretty cautious; pretty watery, a little chamomille and a hint of sundried tomato with a pinch of smokyness. Very flat, I'd categorize it as tasteless. Maybe that's just table beer?

Nelson Sauvignon / Sauvin Brut Malmanger
Tart, pretty wheaty on the nose. Taste is super pleasant, sour, with some sweetness from the wheats (I guess). Obviously belgian, but in a much more fresh way than I'm used to. White-winey, dry. Me likey.

Seriously well done, this one. Deep, dark chocolate and coffee notes from the roasted malts - along with cocoa and coconut, but very subtly. The solid, dark stoutness dominates, and very nicely so.

I really love meself a crisp raspberry berliner weisse - and that's exactly what this is. Taste of raspberries, but not heavily fruited, mild little bubbles and a bit watery. Pleasant, refreshing.

Weird Weather Non-Alcoholic Hazy IPA Malmanger
The bartender poured the wrong beer (and I mumbled the beer number), so I got it for free. I love this country. I wish it was a different one, but hey! Cheers!

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2020) Malmanger
Just God damn freaking perfection. I'm really in awe over Cantillon's beers, and they seem to never disappoint. The balance between fruityness, tartness and hoppyness is just inexplainable. And I was never even the big lambic/sour fan. So cheers.

Vinous, with fresh notes of apple and some dryness from oak. Refreshing gueuze.

Wow! Mango, strawberries. Super creamy, fluffy, fruity with a dry finish. Love it!

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2022) Malmanger
Bottled six weeks ago (on Valentine's😏❤️). Je l'aime.

Both tart, fruity and coffeeish on the nose. Taste is tart of lychee, with a coffee finish?? This is some nerd shit, and it's very well composed. I like it a lot!

Yes yes yes yes. I LOVE beer, and I LOVE coffee. This is so pure. Classic, gentle, soft stout with roasted, slightly bitter notes. And I clearly get the coffee that so perfectly goes with it, with sweet, caramelly notes. Freaking YUMMY.

Brokilde Yeaster Bunny Malmanger
Floral, sunny smell of elderflower, white tea and malt. Pleasant, floral taste of wheat with a very fitting bitterness and touch of fresh herbs. Solid, yet light.

Black Malts & Body Salts 2.0 Malmanger
Just love how the velvety, perfectly bitter coffee notes shine through in this one. IPA-amount of hops gives it sweetness, and of course the hoppy touch. I like this in a weird way. Would love to have it without the hoppy part, as a nitro stout or porter.
Dry, clean, crisp and a bit sweetness in there. Maybe the best pilsner I've had to date. And I really do love the 45 Days Pilsner.
That's world class for sure. Super juicy and hazy hopsplosion with fresh notes of stonefruit such as peach and apricot, and some tart passionfruit on top. Rounded off by a serious hop punch, dry and bitter. Lovely as heck.

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021) Malmanger
Smell of coffee, coconut, vanilla and bourbon. Taste is a bit burning, bourbon-like, and hits as the first. Solid coffee and roasted notes follow, and finally some sweet vanilla and coconut. A bit too boozy and bitter for me.

Chaaarge Nitro Dry Stout Malmanger
Yes, yes, yes. You did this very well! So fluffy and creamy, flat stout. Smell of coffee, and a dry, bitter taste of it as well. This works very well for me. Loads of taste, the low % considered. Had it luke-warm. All of a sudden I feel british??

I've been going back to this one some times since the summer. It's tropical, pretty juicy with a creamy mouthfeel and pleasant bitterness - and it's not very expensive. It's beyond decent.

Smell is berryish and tart, mouthwatering. Taste is surprisingly creamy and sweet, vanilla-like, with a sour berry wrapping. Lovely.

My Honningkage Is Bigger Than Yours Malmanger
Dark brown, prune-like color. Sweet, round smell of dates/figs and subtle warm spices. Taste is a sweet punch to the face with dark dried fruits in the sides, fulfilled by interesting spices. I get cinnamon and cardamom. Ginger (and ABV) give afterburn.
Perhaps the most malted beer I've had. Smell of roasted malts. Taste is broad and deep, bready, almost sweet from all the malts. Not much coffee or chocolate in there for me, but those are also typical stout flavors. A true cozy winter banger.

Been saving this baby. Large smell of tart raspberries functions as a potent mouthwaterer. Taste is yet again a fruit explosion. I think I'm in love with Cantillon ❤️

A very decent pilsner! And clearly czech. I love the crispness they have.

Beer Geek Fudgesicle BA Bourbon Malmanger
Been saving this (last one I've got from the series). Enjoying with all-time favorite movie: Interstellar (4K). Smell of bourbon and vanilla. Taste, again: WOW. Vanilla, bourbon, dark chocolate, coffee, sweet. Long, sweet, bourbony aftertaste.
Okay, seriously impressive for a session. Complex hop aromas, dominating bitterness. Hazy, dry aftertaste.
Slightly bitter smell of stone fruit. Taste is everywhere, very sweet, and aftertaste is bitter of booze and malt. Not a winner to me. Judging by friends' reviews, mine must be old or something. Or I'm just picky.

SpontanCherry Frederiksdal (2018) Malmanger
Smell is a pretty tart cherry bomb. Taste is so god damn smooth! Not very tart, which surprised me after the sniff. Very fruity, round, full and slightly sweet taste of cherries. Almost no aftertaste. This is a masterpiece.
Sweet, gentle barrelley vanilla on the nose. Taste is a solid, broad composition of coffee and dark chocolate, topped with whiskey in the end - long, slightly burning aftertaste. Very good.
Pretty clean, hazy smell. Taste and mouthfeel are surprisingly large. Taste of tropical fruit such as mango (no shit, Sherlock), pineapple and some orange. Dances with bitterness, who closes the show. Thirst-quenching.
Smell is super fresh, and very tart, of blackcurrants. Taste is pretty much the same; a big, fresh and very sour explosion of blackcurrants. A cool take on the Cassis; a syrupy liqueur made on blackcurrants in a small town near Marseilles - named Cassis.
Very little on the nose. I get orange, but not much of it. Taste is refreshing, with some deep notes of stonefruit, and orange on top. Very easy-to-drink, but primarily due to lack of taste.

Spontan Goes Spontan Malmanger
Smell is tart and lemony. Taste is pretty much the same, but with a weird bitterness up front. Like orange peel.
Sweet, creamy, soft smell of peach, apricot. Medium thick, very pleasant mouthfeel. Taste is dank, bitter. Some citrus in there, but not at all tart. Piney. Aftertaste is bitter.
Very juicy on the nose; sweet stone fruit and pineapple. Taste is more to the bitter side, with a pointy, almost vinegary, top. Aftertaste is dry, and glides over to a malty film in the mouth.

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio Malmanger
Acidic cherries on the nose - pretty straightforward. Mouthwatering. And oh my god the taste. So very very pure, of high quality fermented cherries. Gentle and thirst quenching, yet at the same time full-bodied and long-lasting. This is seriously good.
Dank on the nose, and very hoppomatic (yeah, I just fusioned hoppy and aromatic) - meaning the smell is complex. Mostly sweet of stone fruit. Taste is a hop-kick to the face, both sweet/stonefruity and bitter. Creamy mouthfeel, lovely texture. MBCC-glass.
Sweet smell of dried stonefruit such as peach and apricot. Sweet pinch on the tip of the tongue as it's sipped, quickly followed by a bitter bomb on the remainder of the licking organ. The bitterness overshadows, but it's more sweet than dry.
Citrusy, floral and creamy on the nose. Fairly bitter and very hoppy taste. No cream in there. Little aftertaste, ergo super chuggable.
Fairly bitter, floral DIPA. Fruity at first, quickly followed by the dry and floral taste. Had it with white fish and herbs, which was a total success.
Lovely color! Smell of pineapple and citrus. Serves a serious hop-kick, borderline boozy. Round and bitter taste, with following juicy fruityness of pineapple and orange.
Tart and very redwiney smell of red berries (obviously this is cherries). Taste is pleasantly soft, mild, fruity and round of sweet cherries. Not tart at all? I had already tightened my face before the sip, waiting for a tartsplosion. But no!
Tropical smell: mango, pineapple, passionfruit. Taste is surprisingly juicy, a bit tart, of passion fruit, peach and mango.
Initial though: "a beer with WHAT?" Smell is very tart, yet at the same time sweet, though hard to place. Taste is also very tart, fresh, sour. Glides over in an earthy taste. I get the ground part, but no distinct beetrot. Refreshing, crunchy. Weird :-)

Beer Geek Flat White Kieni Coffee Malmanger
With Coffee Collective's famous Kieni beans. This stout is very smooth, with classic taste of coffee and dark chocolate. Sweet. A slightly bitter aftertaste, like in a good cup of coffee.

Holy damn! Smells like my grandmother's homemade marmalade with berries from the garden. And it tastes like it, too!? Fuckloads of raspberries, cherries, black/red currants and blackberries (16,1 % to be precise) makes this a refreshing banger.

Impressive pilsner! Clean, crisp, slightly sweet and neither too bitter nor watery.

Peach and apricot on the nose. Floral, dry and satisfyingly hoppy taste.

Beer Geek Fudgesicle BA Rye Whiskey Malmanger
Yet another insane piece of art from Mikkeller/Lervig/To Øl. Cholate, vanilla, coffee, bourbon - and lots of it in every drop. Truly chestwarming and loveable.
Seriously tart. Lemony, yet round and fruity like a... Cold cup of tea? Very refreshing and very good, but it demands small sips to avoid SSF (Serious SourFace).
Woah. This is something else. Thin and crisp mouthfeel, with an immediate winey, tart punch. Softens down fast, into fruity, delicate, smooth peaches. This would go extremely well with fish and vegetables from the grill on a warm summer evening.
Pure insanity. Silky, velvety, full of dark chocolate, coffee and with a sweet touch of vanilla. Maybe the most brilliant stout I've tried to date. Brewed by my beloved Lervig. Barrel aged in To Øl City. Released by Mikkeller. I'm in awe.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2018) Malmanger
Wedding gift. A lot of bourbon on the nose, also some smooth coffee and sweet dried fruit. Taste is a solid punch of coffee and dark chocolate, sweetened by the distinct, overshadowing and beautiful bourbon taste. A god damn pleasure.

Japanese Rice Lager With Yuzu Malmanger
Very crisp lager, and from what I've been told by the bartender we owe the crispness to the rice. Also, the yuzu adds a distinct citrusy taste - I also get juniper, like in a good japanese gin. Maybe there's a connection.
