Bruocsella 1900 Grand Cru (2017)

Didn’t make it to Zwanze in Richmond or Asheville this year but last year in Durham was awesome. Figured we’d pop some Cantillon and have our own mini Z. Almost bought something else when I got this but glad I didn’t. Especially as it warms, this shines

Dunno what vintage so I’m posting here. It was fine but didn’t stand out with the rest today.

Zwanze 2021 - Parasol

Thanks to Gavin E. for letting me know about this event. Shockingly this might be the best of the day. I’m glad I brought Christina so I could have most of hers 🤪

120 Minute IPA (2017)

Jesus. This is a barleywine not an IPA. So much malty sweetness.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017)

It’s not actually still a five but I’m sticking with it. It’s lost a bunch of maple but it’s still better than the 2019 trash CBS. I rarely buy founders anymore because I feel like everything I’ve had since this bottling was worse than the previous one

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018)

Maple battle. Wasn’t even really close. This is PART of the reason I basically never buy Founders anymore. Downhill (either that or it was never that good and I just hadn’t experienced enough)

Brabantiae (2018)

From Thursday. Pretty sure I have these two straight. This is good but Meh based on my standards for Cantillon. Nath was better!
