Underground Mountain Brown (2019) Short

Bottled 8/7/2019. Not bad just very mellow. Vaguely sweet. Definitely past it’s prime. #teeftuesday

Frangelic Mountain Brown (2019) Short

Bottled 12/2/19. Sweet milk chocolate but not thick like a milk stout. Light roast coffee. Not bad. Aged pretty well. #teeftuesday

KBS Espresso (2021) Short

Bottle date 8/18/21. Cold brew coffee with mellow bourbon wood. Light on the booze. Super smooth. Killer lingering espresso finish. Surprisingly exceptional 2 years aged. Man is it good.

Saint Lamvinus Short

Mildly tart and sour. Sweet and fruity. A dry wine-like quality. Excellently balanced. All flavors there but nothing is overpowering. Avoids a syrup like consistency. An outstanding pour. Cantillon draft hype party.

90 Minute Imperial IPA Short

Stovepipe gas station can. Malty sweet piney hopped IPA. Meh.

Kriek Mariage Parfait (2014) Short

Last time I had this beer (at least the 2014) was in Copenhagen on our honeymoon. Today is our 4 year anniversary. Seems fitting. All natural brett funky tartness with some mild fruity sweetness. Cheers.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Short

Bottled 9/24/2020. Super smooth dark chocolate fudge. Hell of a night cap.

Frangelic Mountain Brown (2019) Short

Bottled 12/2/19. Smooth hazelnut coffee. Aging has mellowed out the sweetness which is good for me.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa (2021) Short

Not my favorite KBS variant. Cinnamon forward but not necessarily overpowering. Still get dark coffee and chocolate. Minimal barrel. Will let my other bottle age a while and see what happens.

Kriek Mariage Parfait (2015) Short

Had the 2014 version in 2019 during our honeymoon to Copenhagen. The 2015 is mellow. Smooth and lightly fruity. Minimal cherry tartness. Going to become a good wedding anniversary tradition. Three years today.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019) Short

Bottled 9/30/2019. So damn smooth. The sweet maple has mellowed out substantially with age but the chocolate and coffee are still there.

120 Minute IPA (2012) Short

2012 ooo oooo. So smooth and malty. Strong. Definitely a sipping beer. Purchased at the source.

Bottled 8/1/19. Smooth roasted darkness. Black coffee in a beer. Aged nicely. Founder’s Flight 1/4.

Curmudgeon’s Better Half (2018) Short

Bottled 8/21/18. Sweet, boozy nose. Sweetness upfront that blends into a sweet molasses body. Strong but not overbearing. The aging really took to bite out of it. Not much barrel flavor left but damn it’s smooth. Better with age for sure. Just incredible.

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio (2016) Short

Bottled 9/16/16 (4yrs old). This is a treat. Just damn. Wow. It’s tart but doesn’t kick you in the cheeks. Funky. Rich and complex. Best sour I’ve ever had.
