Such an amazing beer, unique aroma that I can't quite place. Orange peel, heavy dose of roasted malts, hop and malt sweetness, coffee probably adding an edge. Drinks like half its abv. Best black IPA in Europe

You can see it has great potential and excellent taste but my issue is that due to very low carbonation the taste just kind of dies and also results in no real aroma where obv a lot of taste comes from

Incredible fruit aroma, translates into fruity sweet taste which the medium sourness tries to fight against. I'd have preferred a puckeringly high sourness to carry the fruity notes but still a very nice beer.

Oude Schaarbeekse Kriek Millésime
Promising sharp aroma but not as sour, interplay of sweet and sour cherries and has a sudden, slightly bitter finish that I am not a fan of

Trains cancelled so in BMT, yay. The aroma reminds me of quite artificial gummy bears, interesting but not my favourite. Low sourness and not really getting any peach. Was looking forward to this one for years and slightly disappointed to be honest.

This is super smooth, excellent balance of sourness with the right hint of acidity. Not overly complex but suuuuper drinkable.

Quite complex berries of the forest taste without me being able to pinpoint any in particular. Really nice balance of sourness, acidity, and carbonation.

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2022)
Well, this does not not smell like weed... Bit peppery, gentle sourness.

Was pleasantly surprised by this, not a wine person at all and on the label they talked of a beer-wine hybrid. You get all the grape flavours without the vinous characters, so I liked it a lot. Some oak. Most sessionable Cantillon I ever had.

Bottled 20 December 2021, drunk half a year later. Funk and sourness not in your face, but very nicely balanced, just well put together. Stonefruits, maybe apricot. Little mineralty or vinegar.

Totally do not get the average rating, what do people expect from a 4% stout?! It does its job beautifully, decent body due to the nitro, roasty, milky, red berries

My most favourite lambic so far, absolutely stunning! Didn't know there were raspberries in there, was getting more cherry and the blueberry but ultra delicious

Smells heavily like Camembert, not sure if it is supposed to. Taste goes a bit in that direction as well.

My most sour Cantillon so far, to the point where it almost burned in the back of the throat. Some raspberry coming through right at the end.

Getting some apple on the nose. Soft and velvety body, minerals and oak. Goes down a treat with a lingering funk that I quite can't point to anything specific.

Not quite as good as the 5%version, maybe a bit more body to it. But it lacks this amazing lingering cherry taste, I only catch it sometimes. Or it is just chance by which barrel or bottle you get? Sourness is pronounced but nice and a hint of acidity.3.9

At the beginning super strong at the sourness and acidity but with a while the taste buds adapt and it becomes super refreshing and tart with a long, lingering cherry aftertaste.
