KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020)

I love the extra notes of chocolate in this as it warms.

Curmudgeon Old Ale

Insanely sweet, yet well supported and not cloying. Lots of oak tannins and just a kiss of hops in the finish. As always, this is so good!

Nemesis (2021)

From last night. Really hoppy and dark for a barleywine. Thanks, Scott!

Barrel Aged Quad Pro Quo

Booze punches you in the face, then laughs at you. But you put up with it because it tastes really damned good.

Panther Cub (2021)

Chocolate malt, vanilla, maple syrup. Happiness.

Founders Old Fashioned Barley Wine

From last night. Good in small doses, but I don't know if I'd want a full pour. Excessively sweet with cherry, with lemon in the background. I like the concept, though.

Nemesis (2021)

Probably the hoppiest barleywine I've ever had.

2 Chainz

Really solid. Malt forward, with a strong hop finish. The bitterness lingers a bit long for me, but I'd drink this over and over.

Wandering IPA

Nectarines, grapefruit, lemon. Delicious.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019)

Never disappoints. Not much maple noticeable at this point, but still just such a great beer.

Big Luscious (2020)

A lot of raspberry. Could do with less. Really nice stout besides that, though.

Backwoods Bastard (2012)

That beer is flat after all these years, but the flavors held up well. Lots of oak and vanilla.

120 Minute IPA

Several years old. More like barleywine at this point.

Campfire Amplifier

Served a little too cold; I had to hug it for a bit. The graham crackers are very noticeable in both the flavor and the mouthfeel. Vanilla lingers in the finish, bringing depth to the cocoa notes. This is solid.
