Grand Cru Bruocsella Lambic Bio (2019-2020) Carter
Wonderful depth of flavour. Tart and very dry, with more oak character as it warms. So good

Very complex - smells like sherry, tastes like a barleywine... then with that trademark funky aftertaste. Very impressive albeit not my favourite

Rose De Gambrinus (2023) Carter
Nearly funked out but worth pushing my boundaries for this beauty. Bright and clear, tart and funky but laced with raspberry. In the best possible way it makes me think of grown up Ocean Spray

No Rose de Gambrinus! Gutted. But this as an amazing alternative. The funk, the fruit... oh my

Wow. I've been spoilt lately but this is possibly the pinnacle. The use of grapes gives big hints of white wine and a slightly softer finish but not without that yeasty funk

Wow, a real uptick in intensity from the lambic - sharp and dry. Very tasty

Single Barrel 2 Year Lambic Carter
Both very dry but somehow delicate with it. Lovely

Oof, big. But extraordinarily smooth and easy to drink. I would like it a bit hoppier bit it's still a lovely beer, surprisingly easy to drink

Funky sour, bit of cherry, seems to hit you upfront but stops short of lingering or being overpowering. Like champagne but darker and more sessionable

Genuinely torn as to how I feel about the artwork... but there is no debate as to whether or not I like the beer. Has a full and zesty sour profile almost akin to Vault City, which is high praise indeed

Far richer than a stout of its strength should be, a nice finisher. Would age very well in whiskey or sherry barrels

What on earth is a konatsu? No idea bit this is a lovely sour and limey wild ale. Tart and refreshing

Wonderfully complex, with an aged oaky impart on the flavour and lots of tartness. I would have preferred more fruit in the finish but still impressive

Like a cross between a very dry cider and champagne. Definitely an acquired taste but enjoyable all the same
