Waited too long for this one! It is strong molasses, bitter, queen anne cherry cordial chocolates from the dollar store, and a bit like fernet branca in its spices and sharp warming finish. I regret not getting to it sooner.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 11.9% Collins

SO. SMOOTH. but at 7 years, this is downhill from my rating of a 5 in 2020, saying 4 years was the sweet spot. Though I'm happy to have that comparison.

Joker & the Thief 2022 Collins

Wooo smooth. Stout with some slightly lighter barleywine qualities that I wouldn't have picked up on had I not known it was a blend.

Fou’ Foune (2023) Collins

Smells like an orchard. It's lovely. Peachy apricot goodness. Sour. Not too funky.

Sang Bleu (2023) Collins

Nic's beer. Smooth, drinkable, not overly tart or funky. If I had to guess, I woulda thought it was blackberry? Maybe.

All Day Chill Day Collins

Floral. Bitter. Cold.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Collins

Pretty smooth. Only burns after it has already gone down. Raisin complexity and toffee barrel flavor.

Citrus Squall Collins

Wicked grapefruit aroma. Tastes like a highly citrus forward beer. Lives up to its name.

Hazy but not New England style, and that's okay with me.

Funk with a background of raspberry. The farm overpowers the fruit. It IS good, but I moreso love a solid raspberry flavor. Sorry cantillon.
