KBS Spicy Chocolate (2023) Werner
Milk chocolate, caramel, light coffee, & chili peppers on the nose. The taste brings chocolate brownies up front. Some light, pleasant chili heat with some milk caramel & Bourbon come mid pallet. A light coffee note in the finish lingers a bit. Nice beer.

Murky, thick purple-blue color. The aroma is blueberry with earthy and juniper notes. Dried blueberry dominates the taste up front. Some deep earthiness and herbal notes. For such a heavy fruit beer it finishes pretty dry with a lingering gin note.

Deep burgundy red color, beige head that lasts. Bourbon, orange, cherry nose. Old-fashioned like. Bourbon taste hits first, followed by some tart cranberry flavor. Sweet orange peel & maraschino cherry in the back. Finishes sweet. Hint of booziness.

Big malt, tropical and citrus, soft mouthfeel, balanced bitterness. Nicely done.

Huge fresh raspberry nose with aromas of hay, funk, red wine vinegar. The taste is tart raspberries up front. Some lemon, funk, tart cherry, a bit of wood. Effervescent, dry, thirst quenching. Truly beautiful Lambic.

Kriek Mariage Parfait (2014) Werner
Nose is musty, wood, maraschino cherry, red apple. Tart cherry, raspberry, Dr. Pepper taste up front. Wood character & mild tartness comes in and lingers through the finish. Lots of tannins in the back.

Clear amber pour, white head, nice lacing. Pine, citrus, & floral nose. Not much malt in aroma. Some bread crusty malt taste with big pine/spruce, grapefruit hop notes. A touch of caramel sweetness and floral notes. Some dank bitterness lingers. Nice beer
