Fresh and fruity opening with tangerine, pineapple and a little onion and menthol. Easy drinking all the way down. Dry finish and hides the ABV rather well.

Very nice thick dark caramel stout. Chocolate, butterscotch and slight bourbon vanilla.

Yesterday quiz beer. Fruity nose in the opening mixes with oat notes as we go. The taste seems fresh with slight 🔥 and a tropical mix with stone fruits, melon and pineapple. Grapefruit and citrus comes along as well. Fat corpo with a solid oat backdrop.

Yesterday. What a muddy piece! Solid oatmeal on the nose along with pineapple, ripe mango and peach. Same also found in the taste. Really soft texture, very low bitterness and quite chewy.

Oats, grass and grapefruit nose. Soft feel with green grass, underripe mango and grapefruit. Quite bitter finish.

Solid rich tasting pilsner. Bread, hay, herbal, floral and sweet backdrop controlled by a really bitter kick. Clean expression. Nice.

A very classic pale ale, with it's fruity, zesty grapefruit and citrus notes and dry, quite bitter expression. Bready nose, rest comes later.

Solid in more than way. Chunky feel, sweet and oaty with tropical overtones.

A sip of Julie J.'s This works rather well with a lactose undertone set to a classic West Coast IPA.

Stone fruit nose. Taste has pineapple, mango, passion fruit, peach and stays on the sweet path with a heavy undertone of oats. Just look at that muddy visual expression.

Pineapple and mango in the nose. Kinda sweet and very soft texture with oatmeal.

A rather classic dry, crispy and moderately bitter IPA added some lactose in a subtle way. Great balance all the way through yet also kinda mainstream.

2nd go at this. Menthol hints in the nose along with pineapple. Pineapple juice with lychee. Great cooking brew.

Mango and peach nose. Zesty opening, Stone fruits, a sharp pine note, a tad of grapefruit. Oats lurking in the back. Sharper impression than the others in the series.

Balcony beer. Another hitter from this series. Pineapple, lime, green grapes and a few herbs on a solid oaty backdrop. Soft and smooth. Really easy drinking with rather clean cut finish.

Better than remembered = + 0.25. My earlier desciption still stands.

This is so smooth and pleasant. Pineapple juice with oatmeal added, blended to a great mix.

Does not seem like a 6.2. Malt driven yet refreshing. Grainy, lightly floral and some baked fruit notes. Had it across the street.

Across the street. Considering the ABV this is a solid stout. Roast, dark chocolate, cake, slight coffee and rather dry finish with some hop notes. Medium thick mouthfeel.

Pineapple and floral notes riding in the smooth oatmeal carpet. Smooth all along and rather sweet. Went down dangerously fast.

Tasty NEIPA leaning on sweet malts and dry yeast roundoff. I get tangerine, pineapple, melon and grapefruit, more or less in that order. Enjoyed in the sun CPH V.

This is a true surprise! A session that has all the thickness, texture, hoppiness and taste of a fullblown IPA. Pineapple, pine and more tropical galore. Dry, slight 🔥. Nice!

Pic right. Sad to say that this is kicked over by mass produced old skool american classics that come at an extremely lower price. Piney and bitter. Not much to back it up.

Old skool West Coast DIPA with all the jazz of resin, pine, ripe fruit tones, sweet backdrop and high bitterness. Really solid, really classic and actually really easy going.

LCI. Yesterday, brew handling beer. Fresh grapefruit nose. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine and oat backbone. Very well balanced and really refreshing.

Fruity caramel nose. On the plus side is a lot of taste and more of all. The downside is too much caramel and too much sweetness reducing drinkability. As some write; more english bitter than crisp lager.

Henry & Irma Night Stout Olsen
Sweet and roasted nose. Taste has burnt sugar, coffee and chocolate. Afterglow is sweet and has burnt caramel. Lots of taste, quite light but sweetness oversteers somewhat in the end.

Holiday Ale From To (Til Fra via Mikkeller) (2016) Olsen
Yesterday. Xmas dinner beer. A very dark porter. Some spicy hints in top of a thick fluid of dark chocolate, coffee and dried fruits.

Apricot nose, apricot color, malty backbone with oats and biscuit. Taste is rather subtle All the way down with tropical notes, ripe stone fruit, and in the end a medium to low bitterness.

Do You Think This Is A Fucking Game? Olsen
Pic right. Straight forward and no nonsense. Doesn't move from it's turf. Dry, resinous, bitter. Some pine, some grass and a yeasty hint.
This actually has a slight hashish note along with juice and classic IPA touch. Dry, bready, juicy but overall quite classic. Good.

Sweet grainy backdrop takes the scene at first. Later joined by dancing melons and pineapples. Nose is quite grainy. Leaning more than a tad towards sweet but holds it's ground fairly with a bitter turn in the end.

Decent IPA. Soft texture, some tangerine and citrus notes, moderately bitter and quite dry. Not interesting, but fair.

Bitter or beska is more right😉 No abundance of taste apart from that, but pine and a little dish washing soap notes sneaks in too. A miss in my book.

Yesterday quiz beer. 2nd round and quiz goes fairly well at the time. Beer hasn't changed for the better, but a really nice head!

Pineapple juice with a slightly dry ending. Good balance and very smooth texture.

Sweetish tropical. Melon, pineapple, guava and an oaty backdrop. Nice, very easy going yet carbo is too high IMO.

Things Ain't What They Used To Be Olsen
2nd CI and slightly more impressed this time. Highly resinous and not overly bitter. Some candied sugary backdrop.

Yesterday. Solid mouthfeel for a 4.7 beer. Sweet, oaty backdrop and quite fruity with pineapple and tangerine. Bitter finish.

Very good DIPA. Very old skool. Very much resin. Very much bitterness. Very tasty.

Worth a +0.25 compared to earlier CI's. Really fresh and tasty with grass, citrus, a tropical touch and great feel.

Agree completely with PapaV and Idiosynkrat L. here! Well suited for slightly better weather than today, but a really nice SIPA! Like the malty underline in this one.

Frangelic Mountain Brown Olsen
Hazelnut and tobacco nose, nutty and sweet taste with coffee notes and dark caramel and a tad of marshmallow roasted over bonfire. Nice stuff.
