Dark roasted and sweet malty with opulent silky smooth chocolate, sweet caramel and toffee, singed brown sugar, toasted bready malty, subtle hoppy undertones, full bodied, vanilla accents into the warming lingering dark malty finish. Gorgeous.

Delphic Fog

Punchy fruity exotic tropical fruity hits of red grapefruit, mango, papaya, strata green herbal dank notes chiming in, nice juiciness, sweetish malty backing, robust hoppy finish. Tasty and drinks really well, lovely.

Burst

Medium sweet fruity and malty with some citrus and light tropical vibes, grapefruit, mango, pine needles, malty backing, bitter hoppy finish. Nothing amazing but perfectly serviceable for Friday balcony beer time ☀️

The Gate

A tropical fruity medley delivering some passionfruit, lychee, red grapefruit, some el dorado induced stone fruit, light hop spice bite, across a substantial soft pillowy mouthfeel with semi sweet malty support, solid hoppy into the close. Lovely.

Spheros

Getting some citrus fruity notes of mandarin and lemon and a touch of grapefruit, melon, medium sweet malts, medium body, resinous piney bitter hoppy into the close. Good but not as much wow factor for me compared to their more recent offerings

Versus: Hew

With the same hop profile as Hue getting the same nice stone fruit notes in play, a touch more hop spice and maybe slightly sweeter, the abv increase is evident here from the Hue, very nice but overall and on drinkability Hue slightly edges this.

Versus: Hue

Vibrant sweet fruity with stonefruit notes of apricot and nectarine, juicy fruity, some citrus grapefruit and chinook piney hop spice, soft sweet malty support, medium body, solid hoppy finish. Drinks well for the abv, think I just prefer this one to Hew.

Sally And Irma

Fruity with prominent notes of lemon, some light grassy floral notes, straw, hay, light body, some sharpness and acidity throughout with a tart fruity finish. Certainly not up there with Mikkeller's normally excellent AF brews.

Trading Places

Plethora of stonefruit with lots of succulent mango, nectarine, apricot, peachy accents, pink grapefruit, ripe and juicy, smooth sweet creamy malts, medium body, assertive balanced bitter piney hoppy finish. Gorgeous.

Winter Hexagon

Intense fruity notes of pineapple and grapefruit, peach and papaya, big juicy fruity aroma and taste, hop spice bite and citrus peel, sweet malty backbone with a fluffy soft dense mouthfeel and body, robust hoppy finish. Gorgeous. Best of the three.

The Great Square of Pegasus

Prominent stone fruit with big nectarine and mango hits, some peachy notes, dash of citrus lime and lemon from the motueka, oat laden substantial mouthfeel and body, sweet intro with a bitter hoppy edge into the close. Goes down well, very nice.

Winter Triangle

Medium sweet fruity with papaya, red grapefruit, some nectarine and apricot stone fruit notes, hint of mosaic bubblegum, sweet malty backing and medium body, touch of hop spice and bitterness into the piney hoppy finish. Nice.

Hop Opera

Tropical notes of passionfruit, grapefruit, tangerine, touch of blueberry and bubblegum from the mosaic, sweet malty backing, decent substantial mouthfeel and body, robust hoppy finish. Yeah tasty and works well.

Throne Room

Vibrant fresh nelson sauvin kiwi goodness with lots of white grape and crushed gooseberries, tropical exotic juicy fruity support, some pine needles, sweet soft malty backing, medium body, piney balanced bitter hoppy into the finish. Very nice.

Metamorfose

Big bold fruity affair with initial waves of tangerine mango and papaya, but still get that delicate nelson grape and gooseberry notes seeping through, pillowy soft substantial mouthfeel and body, assertive hoppy finish. Lovely drop.

Symptomagic

Medium sweet fruity and malty intro with notes of melon, peach, lemon, pine needles, sweet caramel biscuity malts, medium body, west coast bitter hoppy bite into the finish. Decent.

Lion Around

Juicy fruity with idaho 7 prominence giving that tropical vibe of red grapefruit, papaya, some nectarine, some peachy notes, soft sweet malty backing, resinous piney balanced bitter hoppy drying finish. Tasty and quaffable.

White Rabbit

Grassy hoppy aroma and taste with notes of straw, herbal hops, grass, bready toasted malts, light to medium bodied, crisp and grassy bitter hoppy into the close. Not a big pils drinker but this one drinks good.

Sleepy Nomad

Nice idaho 7 profile here, plenty of ripe tropical fruit, some papaya and red grapefruit, nectarine, juicy fruity, sweet malty backing, medium to light body, balanced bitter hoppy finish. Solid Sipa action.

Undulate v7

Roasted dark malty with opulent dark chocolate prominence, some sweet caramel and fudge notes, ashy singed and charred malts, full bodied with a dense yet smooth silky mouthfeel, dark roasted malty close. Lovely drop.

Undulate V8

Dark roasted and sweet malty with lots of chocolate, caramel, earthy malts, touch of vanilla, nice mouthfeel and body, smooth lingering malty finish. Very nice.

The Guide

Fruity with passion fruit, tangerine, blueberry and bubble gum mosaic notes, soft sweet malts, pine needles, piney light resinous balanced bitter hoppy finish. Nice stuff, drinks well.

Malty and citrus fruity aroma and taste, sweet caramel malty backbone, medium body, touch herbal and grassy resinous bitter hoppy into the close.

Mikkeller XMAS Vienna Lager Classic

Toasted and medium sweet malty with notes of caramel, brown sugar, doughy bready malts, light bitter hoppy backing, nutty accents into the malty finish. Decent vienna

Undulate V6

Dark roasted malty, layers of medium sweet chocolate cakey malts, brown sugar, cocoa, smooth mouthfeel and medium body, some nice bitter hoppy fruity undertones coming through into the lingering dark malty finish. Good stuff.

Alpha Pavonis

Citrus fruity and grassy hoppy, getting the lime, bready malts, crisp palate, light to medium body, straw, herbal grassy bitter finish. Alright.

Illuminations

Text book dark roasted malty and solid hoppy prominence, some citrus grapefruit and orangey fruity notes punching through, pine needles, cocoa, charred brown sugar sweetness, more earthy roast, piney hoppy bitter dark roasted malty close. Solid CDA action

Video Nasty

Passion fruit and grapefruit with some tangerine and peachy accents coming in, light hop spice bite, sweet malty backing, medium body, piney balanced bitter hoppy finish. Tasty.

Henry & Irma Night Stout

Sweet dark roasted malty with lots of cocoa, burnt earthy malts, charred brown sugar, light coffee roast, milky chocolate sweetness, light roasted sweet malty finish. Pretty solid supermarket fayre.

Don't Bring Me Down

Punchy fruity with lots of NZ leaning hoppy goodness, the Bruce T-90 combo giving the great grape and gooseberry notes that nelson/motueka character, touch of peach and nectarine, nice balanced hoppy bitter finish. Very nice.

Space Capsule

Vibrant fruity with lots of papaya and passion fruit, some grapefruit and pineapple, light hop spice, nice piney and leafy green young balanced bitter hoppy into the finish. Tasty stuff.

Santa's Hoppy Helpers

Sweet malty and fruity with allot of caramel sweetness, vague fruity undertones, herbal grassy hops, slight metallic taste into the medium hoppy and sweet malty finish. Not great.

Resting Brew Face

Fruity with notes of lemon and pineapple, some grapefruit and satsuma, guava, touch of lemon sherbet, pretty sweet, some sweet creamy malts, medium body, light bitter sided hoppy finish. Drinks well if a little sweet.

Beer Geek Flat White Xmas

Dark roasted and sweet malty with prominent coffee roast, milky vanilla notes, brown sugar, oats, light body, ash roasted malty finish. Tasty AF brew:

Phosphenes & Moonbeams

Fruity with notes of grapefruit and pineapple, splash of lemon, pine needles, pale malty support, light spice, medium bitter into the hoppy finish. Ok sessioner.

Oculus Orbus

Vibrant fruity with a plethora of tropical fruity notes delivered, pineapple, papaya, with some grapefruit and lemon citrus undertones, soft malts, pillowy soft mouthfeel, robust hoppy finish. Gorgeous.

Citrus fruity and medium sweet malty, notes of grapefruit and orange, pine needles, sweet malty backbone, solid bitter hoppy finish. Nice west coast bitter action.

Free Fall Flow

Medium sweet malty and fruity with some vibrant tropical citrus fruity notes, light spice, supporting malted rye backbone, hoppy bitter and lingering dry finish. Works well. Tasty.

Déjà Vudú

Sweet malty and fruity with notes of grapefruit, orange, citrus rind, solid sweet caramel malty backbone, medium body, piney resinous bitter hoppy finish. Great old school west coast action.

Inner Space

Exotic tropical fruity notes of papaya, mango, some melon, sweet malts, pillowy soft mouthfeel and medium body, tingling carbonation, robust hoppy finish. Very nice.

Giant Jelly

Intense juicy fruity aroma and taste, some nectarine, red grapefruit and papaya, love the Idaho and strata hop combo here, touch of hop spice, sweet malty backbone, nice mouthfeel, sweet warming yet not too boozy for its 10% abv. Gorgeous.

Nitrojar

Roasted and toasted malty with notes of cocoa, caramel, brown sugar, coffee roast accents, charred earthy malts, smooth mouthfeel and medium body, just a touch of vanilla sweetness into the light roasted finish. Good stuff.

The Glow Below

Fruity with notes of papaya and mango, tangerine, grapefruit, medium sweet, malty support, medium body, robust hoppy finish. Nice.

Interstratal Abyss

Intense and vibrant juicy fruity with prominent idaho 7 led hoppy fruity notes of passion fruit, peach, pineapple, waves of citrus fruit coming in, sweetish malty support, robust piney hoppy finish. Goes down a treat, gorgeous.
