Coal Miner’s Daugther

Toasted and sweet malty with notes of caramel and fudge, toffee, dried fruit shred, medium body, malty finish. Interesting take on a traditional mild, not the same as on cask but kegged this works well overall.

May 10, 2013 Bottle from Voldby Koebmandsgaard, DK - Murky fuzzy amber/orange colour, with a frothy off white head and lacing. Strong citrus hops, pine and caramel. Extremely pleasing bitter finish to this. Great stuff.

March 2, 2013 - Bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen - Naturally with the amount of hops here its no surprise strong hop character is most prominent, with lovely citrus aroma/taste, along with pine and fine caramel malt. Lovely.

Bitter Amendment

March 11, 2013 Keg @Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Golden pour with a medium off white head.with creamy. Over riding yeasty, spicy, fruity, citrus aroma/taste. Overall palate is mix of sweet/dry with a slightly spicy bitter finish.

March 17, 2013 tap@Mikkeller & Friends - Pours a fuzzy amber/orange with a medium white head. Strong citrus in both aroma and taste, biscuity malt, slight caramel, so easily drinkable for such a rated abv. Lovely stuff this.
