Hoppy nose. Sweet and malty offset by a lightly bitter hop bite. Pretty good barleywine.

Vanilla nose. Vanilla prominent, you don’t get much maple, which is ok with me. Smooth and creamy with hints of bourbon on the finish. Very nice!

This bottle’s definitely a little off. Bottled 4/19. Not terribly, like it’s been shelved a little too long.

Golden amber. Lots of vanilla on the nose. Vanilla prominent, subdued coffee and cocoa notes. Founders does it again!

Bottled 12/18. Almost 2 years of aging gives it a creamier mouthfeel with less burn on the finish. Mmmm. Yummy.
