120 Minute IPA (2020) Estariel

This was the last of the crowler and I am so grateful to raise my glass to Dogfish Head for brewing some of the best beers I have ever sipped.

I Heard You Like Galaxy Estariel

Deep lemon colour with a haze that enhances the dark colour. The hops are not lost in slightly mild fruity tartness that suffuses the bitterness. A bit astringent on the finish with the hops lingering in a pleasant way.

Outdoor Shower Estariel

Very effervescent with the grain present on the nose. Good lacing on a full head that settles down. Clear medium amber-gold colour. Don't taste much of the pineapple, but the green tea adds a bit of astringency on the finish. Refreshing.

Shelter Pale Ale Estariel

Always wanted to try Shelter and a DFH co-worker gave this one to me. Lovely medium amber colour with malt and hops singing in gentle harmony. Nice carbonation prickle and quite quaffable. 25 years never tasted so good.

120 Minute IPA (2020) Estariel

This is brightly hoppy, but the malty undertones are balancing the intensity. The fusel strength is a a promise of a future mellowness.

Costumes And Karaoke Estariel

Not as familiar with the cream ale style and it isn't a personal fave, but this has a warming, spicy nose with a beautiful golden, clear colour. Mouthfeel is definitely thicker than expected. Hints of licorice and that is the anise. Nice.

120 Minute IPA (2020) Estariel

This is on spruce tips via Randall the Enamel Animal and is it a wonderful addition. It add a resinous character to the beer that highlights the IPA portion of this very malty and delightful ale.

Centennial Suds Estariel

Clean, clear and crisp. The lager is front and centre, but the fruity hints and sweetness and gentle dryness fill in the flavour profile.
