Perfect amount of carb. Great clarity. Aroma of apricot jam and cereal, Little bit of apricot based liqueur, Slight funk. jammy apricot taste! Mellow funk, aged lambic sherbet, slight oak and barrel notes as it goes on. Very little sourness. Well balanced

Another from Thursday. Really quite good. Loads of funk yet loads of piney bitter hop oiliness.

Nice to have a beer like this on the first pub visit in ages! Still my favourite cantillon that happens to be brewed on my birthday! So grapey, great smooth funk, so moreish, generally just top stuff

Typical top cantillon funk aroma, with a little red wine. Tastes great like most cantillon. Loads of barnyard funk, rustic bread, old malt, lemon, honey, slight red wine again, little bit of port/fortified and aged wine, orange, apricot, pear, oak

juicy fresh raspberries, little bit of more earthy blueberries, then a quite prominent creamy yoghurty vanilla finish! Little bit of strawberry. The funk takes a background to the fruit and vanilla but still there with an oakey farmyard sherbet vibe

50 Degrees N - 4 Degrees E (2020) (Cognac) Foley
Cereal, vanilla, pear, apple, apricot, a white dessert wine thing, honey, little bit of barrel wood and an underlying aged grape syrupyness (again I guess that’s cognac!). Definitely interesting to try a cantillon aged in old spirit barrels

Phenomenal beer! Huge cherry in all its aspects. Plenty of it on the nose with some barnyard funk. Taste is crazy. So much dessert like cherry flesh, juice, pips and skin. Somehow vanilla and cinnamon in droves and lovely funk with some sherbet. Perfect

This is fantastic this year. So much apricot jam. Funk is ongoing and super smooth. Perfect tartness rather than sour. Lingers for ages. Carb keeps the flavour going. Honestly close to perfect

Backwoods Bastard (2017) Foley
Bottled 20/07/17. Aged wonderfully. So much oak and bourbon barrel character. Super warming and smooth. Some scotch notes. Plums, raisins, dates, malty, alcohol is at the perfect level of kick without being overwhelming. Great beer

Very spritzy, mineraly, dank, light blue cheese, little herbal, old hops

Wow. One of the best fruited lambics I’ve had. Really smooth, great complex funk, but the red grape adds so much. Got a load of grape skin and flesh, then cherry and mixed dark berries. Only had one bottle of this before and this one seems much better

Kriek 100% Lambic Bio (2019) Foley
Much better than the same bottle I had about a year ago. Smoother, but still lovely marzipan like cherry, pips and all. This is underrated tbh

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017) Foley
Last night. Dove in to the cellar to kick off bank holiday. Still holds up great this. Chocolate, coffee and a ridiculous amount of sweet bourbon and barrel character.
