Lovely cherry brew. What's to do when to kriek lambic and expect to sour. Don't know! This is more kriek lemonade than a kriek lambic.

Oude Geuze Boon (2019-2020) Tretjakov
Strong and tart, brettanomyce is strong in this one. Cellar in the nose. Rather aggressive for a gueuze, high abv and crude aroma.

Like a milk of a dragonfly, this framboise is soft and sweet berry brew. Not half as sour as most of the Boon lambics.

Hazy and dank, but still very much enjoyable as an IPA. Fruity and burny, could use some bitter. Very citric. Sufficient light body for the aroma.

Rose De Gambrinus (2023) Tretjakov
Softer and more framboise-y than the familiar bottled Gambrinus. Still sour and hard, but not so totally much. Tender, complex and wonderful. Framboise and cherries both shine. I could have another, but hardly with these prices...

Young and aggressive raspberry hits you hard and funky. Take a deep breath, you can survive the attack if you take it easy. Not light and delicate like Rose de Gambrinus, but heavy berry with funky vinegar. Ultra sour like all Cantillon lambics are.

Weird Weather Non-Alcoholic Hazy IPA Tretjakov
Hazy IPA? No it's not. Mostly fruity juice and some perfumy vanilla. Some kind of achievement to produce a zero brew this dank. Smelly sugary fruit juice.

Sour and sharply fruity, extra tart. Still freakishly balanced, rhubarb goes in lambic like fish in the water. Weirdness you can get used to. As smooth as rhubarb gets.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2016) 11.9% Tretjakov
Reeks of booze, cocoa and coffee, not that there would be anything wrong with that. Liquid chocolate and coffee infused in a stout. Medium roast. Still surprisingly balanced brew for this kind of cocktail.

Tyrnilambic Baie D'Argousier (2022) Tretjakov
Hello, another vintage of Cantillon tyrni. Every year I hope for the best and get disappointed. There is no return of the original tyrni with stunning berry aromas. This one is a diluted shadow of the first tyrni batches. Lambic is still good, though.

Tropically fruity and mellow vanilla touch. Pretty easy peach, melon and citrus palate. Milky bitterness, what does that even mean? In my opinion citrus and dairy doesn't mix well.

Complex berry nose with promises of vanilla and toffee. Overall still sour palate with no trace of any sweetness. On the scale of Cantillon, this is above average, interesting but somehow disturbingly brown and messy.

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°4 Tretjakov
Mellow and balanced gueuze. Not overly sour, just pleasant and nice. Fine aroma, easy body.

Risen from the dead? What is, your mama? This one is full of fresh mango, and when I say fresh, I mean nasty sour fresh, like your mama. Happy fruity mother's Day with a fresh hop bite!

Saint Lamvinus (1995) Tretjakov
27 years has treated this brew with grace and excellence. Maturing brought some grape and wine tones, sourness is still kicking strong. On top the oaky tones bring cognac, perfectly balanced and lovely lambic.

Rosé de Gambrinus (2021) Tretjakov
Deep, deep red, ultimate sour blood, the mother of all sour brews. Great load of raspberry and cherry hidden deep in the ultra sour blood brew. Complex aroma with vinegar and berries, all the wild bunch. Hard to swallow. Not for faint hearted.

Vigneronne ai fut, a must take if you find one. Fresh and fruity, prickly acidy grape lambic. All the flavours of grapes without the dull heavy white wine pressure.

Fresh and balanced, perfectly cellared and served in optimal temperature right in the new brewery bar. I could not wish for more from a traditional gueuze. Thanks for serving, Alberto! ❤️

Tyrnilambic Baie D'Argousier (2021) Tretjakov
Winy and cidery, like a fine small bubbly champagne. Under the lambicy nose lies a flat and young, almost raw sea-buckthorn lambic brew. Sourness is moderate, not over the top, and easily drinkable. Did the older batch have more buckthorn?

Rosé de Gambrinus (2020) Tretjakov
Strong raspberry and vinegar on the nose. Fresh sourness turns into clear vinegar, but huge. Never seen such a Flanders red aroma in fresh Gambrinus before, might be the tap.

Oude Schaarbeekse Kriek Boon (2018) Tretjakov
Complex aromatic nose, charming bretta aroma. Quite quenching nicely balanced kriek. Grey cherriness tastes old and matured already.
