Yup, all there…maple, cinnamon sugar, vanilla, and toasty malts. Like French toast more than pancake. Nice strong flavors! But too sweet. Like drinking syrup from bottom of plate. A few sips is decadent but a full serving is a bit much. Sip & share!

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Gonzalez

Fudge aroma! Oh my! Made my knees melt. sooooo goood! Super easy to drink. Maple is subtle. Wow!!

Really nice warmer! Great dessert sipper by the fire, but not so big, you can get after it! Roasty without astringent. Semi sweet chocolate with hint of coffee. Subtle vanilla, helps round out holiday flavors

Hmmm. I’d drink it but not quite expected for Ofest. Bitter and dry. Not malty enough. Closer to a Munich Pils, if that was a thing. Very clear!

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2019) Gonzalez

Excellent! Great way to kickoff Fathers Day! Slight coffee and cocoa nib flavor. Alcohol heat is restrained. So smooth!

KBS Hazelnut Gonzalez

Really nice and smooth. I like the nuttines. Chocolate and coffee is good level. Alcohol is a bit hot. A year aging will help a bunch!

Belgian Twist Gonzalez

Outstanding!!!! Excellent Belgian Trippel base with an agave background. Finishes a bit sweet, which helps hide the 10%! But it’s close to cloying. Clove and peppery phenolics are quite nice!

Barrel Runner Gonzalez

Surprisingly fruity. Pineapple. Good bitter, not rough. Aged 3 yrs in my fridge. So good with Mays cigar.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Gonzalez

Very enjoyable. Quite dark chocolate flavor with coffee and bourbon light in background. Not really getting maple, maybe in sweetness. Warming!

Just like a roasty stout, some graham. Not getting campfire or marshmallow. Some vanilla. Good brew, but not as great as expected from Dogfish, esp with name Amplifier.

Very high coffee flavor, quite bitter chocolate. Good if you like that bitter chicory stuff. Not my palate.
