Oude Geuze Boon (2019-2020) Sayers
Classic geuze - comes across as fairly gentle for an unsweetened lambic. The Brett is fairly gentle too.

1/3 pint - a nice balance of cherry, funk and sourness in this draft only kriek from Boon. Lovely cherry colour too.

Nice sweet cherry lambic. For some reason Tesco were getting shot - snagged this last bottle from the bargain shelf.

Gueuze Mariage Parfait 2019 Sayers
LCI - nice geuze - smoother than the usual Geuze Boon.

Geuze Mariage Parfait (2017) Sayers
Certainly smoother than Geuze Boon, seems like less funk and Brett with more leathery vinous barrel character.

Lovely hazy IPA, nice pine resin notes amongst the sort of tropical citrus juice notes.

Juicy and tropical modern IPA with low bitterness. Lots of pillowy malt and stonefruit.

Peter, Pale and Mary Gluten Free Sayers
LCI - decent GF beer - style is American pale ale - fairly old school. Piney, citrusy, malty and bitter.

Oude Geuze Boon (2017-2018) Sayers
Less funky and bretty than some previous vintages I've tried, so easier drinking!

Drink'in The Sun (0.3%) Sayers
Citrusy and light American pale wheat ale but nonalcoholic. Decent for what it is.

LCI from lunchtime - first Christmas day beer - 2017 vintage - cherry and lambic character mellowed with age.

Stonking good juicy and dank IPA - loads of tropical business but plenty of pine too. Delicious. Day 21 of advent.

Day 14 - Dry & Bitter Chromodome - more like an old school American IPA to me than what I've become accustomed to as s Westcoast IPA. Bitter, piney and fruity.

Dank citrusy tropical stonefruit and piney/resinous thick-cut marmalade bitterness. A formidable modern IPA.

Tasty NZ pale ale, soft and fruity in a muted tropical grapey way. Nice easy drinker.

American Dream Extra Dry-Hopped Sayers
Extra Dry Hopped version - until I checked the can I was convinced I was drinking an old school American IPA. Piney, malty with bitter thick cut marmalade citrusiness. Another fairly pedestrian beer for Mikkeller.

Completely different type of IPA now, juicy, fruity, citrusy and tropical. A nice example of a NEIPA or modern hazy IPA.

Had this one a while too, lambic character has really mellowed. Cherry has become a tad jammy. Still very nice.

After ageing in my kitchen cupboard it has really mellowed, only slightly tart and raspberry has changed to a cassis flavour. Very pleasant.
