Oh mercy. Definitely a dessert brew, but not sickeningly sweet. A slow sipper, full of maple goodness and a touch of spice.

Backwoods Bastard (2020) by Founders. Nice heavy, full scotch ale. Sweet, caramelly, slight smoke. It's been awhile since I've had this. As good as I remember.

The aftertaste is KILLER-very flavorful but with a mellow first note.
